1. Agreement
These terms apply when you download or use Subwall (“the app”), made by Christian Tania, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. Your licence to use Subwall
Subwall is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA applies. You may use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store’s usage rules.
3. The free version and Subwall Pro
- Subwall is free to download. The free version tracks up to 7 subscriptions and shows the last 3 months of history.
- Subwall Pro removes those limits and adds room themes, Face ID lock and app icons. It’s optional and comes three ways:
- Pro Yearly: an auto-renewing yearly subscription. It starts with a 7-day free trial if your Apple Account hasn’t had a Subwall free trial before. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends.
- Pro Monthly: an auto-renewing monthly subscription with no free trial. The first month is charged when you confirm the purchase.
- Lifetime: a one-time in-app purchase. It never renews or charges you again.
- Pro Yearly and Pro Monthly renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the app’s Settings or in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- If Pro ends, your subscriptions and their history stay in the app. Only the Pro features stop.
- Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. You can restore Pro on your devices with the same Apple Account using Restore purchases in the app’s Settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. What Subwall does, and doesn’t do
Subwall helps you keep track of subscriptions you enter yourself. It is an organiser, not a financial service:
- It doesn’t connect to your bank, cards or any subscription service, and it can’t subscribe, pay, pause or cancel anything for you.
- Amounts, dates, totals and history are worked out from what you enter. They are estimates and may differ from what you’re actually charged, for example because of price changes, taxes, fees or exchange rates. Always check with the service or your bank.
- Totals that include more than one currency are converted into your main currency using daily reference exchange rates, and are approximate (marked ≈). Your bank or card may use a different rate and add fees.
- Nothing in the app is financial advice.
5. Your content
The subscriptions, notes and other details you add are yours. They are stored only on your device; we don’t receive a copy (see the Privacy Policy). Because of that, you’re responsible for keeping your own backups, for example with iCloud Backup. If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, we can’t recover your data. Please don’t enter full card numbers, security codes or passwords.
6. Service names and logos
Subwall shows the names and logos of services so you can recognise what you’re tracking. They belong to their respective owners, and Subwall is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Logos come from Simple Icons (CC0).
7. Acceptable use
Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as the law allows, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the App Store rules.
8. Updates and availability
We may update Subwall to add, change or remove features, fix problems or keep up with iOS. Some updates may be needed to keep using the app. We aim to keep Subwall available, but we can’t promise it will always be offered in the App Store or work with every future iOS version.
9. No warranty
Subwall is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that reminders will always be delivered, since delivery depends on your device’s settings, such as Focus modes and notification permissions. Subwall can’t guarantee that you avoid a charge, a renewal or a late payment.
10. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for charges, renewals or fees from any service you track, arising from your use of the app. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
11. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, as set out in the Apple EULA.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t take away any protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
